Before We Go Any Further

If you've been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or guilty about traveling with a baby — you're not crazy. And it's not your fault.

Nobody hands you a manual for this. Well, until now! You just need the right information — and someone who's actually done it.

Sound Familiar?

As parents, we're programmed to
imagine what can go wrong.

Family in Florence

On our recent trip to Florence

😰

"My baby will scream the whole flight and everyone will hate me."

You've pictured the glares, the sighs, the passenger in 14B turning around slowly. It keeps you from booking at all.

🧳

"I won't know what to pack and the whole trip will fall apart."

You'll either bring too much and break your back, or forget the one thing that keeps everything from unravelling.

😴

"My baby's sleep will be destroyed and ruin everything."

New environment, new time zone, new cot. You're already anxious about the nap schedule at home — let alone abroad.

✈️

"I'll get to the airport and completely fall apart."

Security. The buggy. The nappy bag. The feeds. The gate change. The boarding chaos. It feels genuinely impossible.

None of this has to be your story.

From Rachael

I almost let everyone talk me out of it.

I've been travelling full-time since 2016. Moving to a new European city every single month. Along the way, I built For the Story Vacations — a boutique European travel planning company, featured in the Wall Street Journal and International Living.

Travel isn't something I do. It's who I am.

So when I moved back to Ireland to have my first baby, the messages came flooding in. "You'll want to be settled now." "Wait until they're at least two." From people who meant well — and who had never once left home with a newborn.

"I was not about to let my baby become the reason I stopped traveling. The opposite, in fact!"

That's when I stopped winging it and built a proper system.

On our recent trip to Paris

My first trip back home to the States was when my son was just three months old. My husband had an important work trip he couldn't miss. And suddenly I was faced with a choice: cancel the trip, or get on a transatlantic flight alone with a newborn and figure it out.

I got on the plane.

It was not graceful. I over-packed (laughably so). I mis-timed the feeds. I forgot that babies need to be held during descent. I was that mum in the airport toilet, completely overwhelmed, wondering what on earth I'd been thinking.

But here's what also happened: we made it. We landed. She slept in a hotel cot in a city that wasn't ours and woke up completely unbothered. And I thought — I just need to figure out what I did wrong, so I never do it again.

Trip by trip, I refined the system. And now, for the first time, I've written it all down — everything I know from a decade of professional travel planning and from my own experience as a new mum who refused to stop exploring. This is the guide I wish I'd had.

Because when you bite the bullet and go for it, you'll open yourself — and your kiddos — to the most wonderful experiences. My baby's first taste of bread was a baguette in Paris. His first haircut was in Florence. And sure… his first "poo-nami" diaper blowout was in a restaurant in Tenerife — but better in Spain than at home!

Questions & Doubts

Heard these thoughts
in your own head?

01

"My baby is too young to travel."

The early weeks and months are actually one of the easiest times to travel. Babies sleep most of the time, don't need entertainment, and are extraordinarily portable when you have the right system. The guide covers every age from newborn through toddlerhood.

02

"What if they cry the whole flight?"

This is covered in full detail — what actually causes in-flight crying, what genuinely helps, and why the passengers around you are almost always more sympathetic than you fear. You will feel prepared for this. That alone changes everything.

03

"I don't have time to read a long guide."

Baby on Board is designed to be read during a nap. The chapters are short, specific, and immediately actionable. The printable checklists mean you can grab exactly what you need in under a minute before any trip.

04

"What if it doesn't work for us?"

If you read it and don't feel genuinely more prepared for your next trip, email Rachael and she'll refund every penny. No questions asked. You have nothing to lose and a lot of brilliant trips to gain.

🛡️

The Full Money-Back Guarantee

Read Baby on Board. If you don't feel completely more prepared and confident about travelling with your baby, email Rachael within 30 days and she'll refund your full purchase. No questions, no fuss. You risk absolutely nothing.

Ready to Travel Again

You didn't stop being
a traveller. You just had a baby.

The adventures are still yours. You just need the system to get there.
